Identification method of plastic bags
In the production of edible fungi, plastic bags are often used for clinker cultivation or production of cultivated seeds. The following is the basis for selecting plastic bags and the general method for identifying plastic bags.
For normal pressure steam sterilization, polyethylene plastic bags with a thickness of 0.05-0.06 mm are suitable. Among them, the transparency of high-pressure polyethylene plastic bags is higher than that of low-pressure polyethylene plastic bags, but the tensile strength of low-pressure polyethylene plastic bags is 2.2 times that of high-pressure polyethylene plastic bags (when the thickness is the same), and low-pressure polyethylene can withstand high temperature of 120 ° C. Low pressure polyethylene plastic bags should be the first choice in the production of edible fungi.
When autoclaving, use polypropylene plastic bags with a thickness of 0.06 mm. Polypropylene can withstand high temperature of 150 ℃, but its flexibility in winter is poor, so be careful when using it at low temperature.
Polyvinyl chloride plastic is toxic and softens below 100°C. Polyvinyl chloride plastic bags cannot be used in clinker cultivation or seed production.
